The Vancouver Canucks haven’t made the postseason since 2015, and they look destined to miss out on the party for the fifth time in six years.
That being said, nobody can deny the promising and bright-looking future on the west coast. Brock Boeser, Elias Pettersson and Bo Horvat round out an excellent young core up front. Top prospects Olli Juolevi and Quinn Hughes haven’t made the NHL yet, and goalie of the future — Thatcher Demko — has just one NHL game under his belt.
Times are frustrating in Vancouver right now, but this team has nowhere to go but up over the next few years.
