Vancouver Canucks fans aren’t alone in being envious of the Pittsburgh Penguins. Only Chicago Blackhawks and Los Angeles Kings fans can attest to winning multiple championships in the 2010s as well.
But still, the Canucks had an extremely dominant group from 2002 to 2013, and it wasn’t enough to capture hockey’s ultimate prize. As everyone remembers, this team blew its chance in the 2011 Final — letting the Boston Bruins snatch the Cup on Vancouver ice.
So here many Canucks fans sit and wonder: When will we get to see one of those? After all, the Penguins and Blackhawks have each won three titles since 2009.
