According to Sportsnet 650’s Brendan Batchelor, this is exactly what some within the Vancouver Canucks organization were expecting would happen. Former Canucks prospect Jonathan Dahlen, who was traded at the deadline for 19-year-old Linus Karlsson, may be headed back to Sweden, to join his former club, Timra IK.
The report comes from Sportsnet’s Satiar Shah who cited this Swedish article as his source. Dahlen had loads of success with Timra, and helped them get promoted from Sweden’s second tier league, the Allsvenskan league, into the highest tier, the SHL, back in 2017.
