After the Erik Gudbranson trade, it has been a rather quiet time with little Vancouver Canucks news. Now one day away from the NHL Draft and one week away from the beginning of free agency, Canucks GM Jim Benning confirmed he will talk to Milan Lucic’s camp and try to get him to Vancouver.
Since Lucic is a Vancouver native, his return home has been rumored ever since he was traded to Los Angeles. Yesterday, news broke that Lucic’s contract demands are not what the Kings are willing to agree to, resulting in Lucic testing the open market.
