Vancouver Canucks need more from their bottom six forwards

Vancouver Canucks general manager Jim Benning made it a priority to add more secondary scoring this offseason, so he went out and added J.T. Miller and Micheal Ferland.

Benning also signed blueliner Tyler Myers, hoping the reliable 30-point veteran could boost the offence from the back end. And of course, Benning and head coach Travis Green knew they could count on Quinn Hughes to provide some scoring as well.

Scoring goals hasn’t been a problem for the top six forwards nor the blue line. But the Canucks are trying trying to roll four effective lines here, and they aren’t getting enough out of their bottom six so far.
