The Vancouver Canucks have another option to fill the hole at left wing. According to a report from Darren Dreger, Kris Versteeg is about to become a free agent again, despite signing with Bern of the Swiss NLA earlier this summer.
Kris Versteeg is about to be a free agent again. Due to insurance complications Versteeg is expected to return to North America this week.

It’s not known what caused the insurance issues, but Dreger speculated the issue may have to do with a hip surgery Versteeg underwent four years ago.
