Sorry for the late coverage on this signing. On Tuesday, the Vancouver Canucks announced the signing of Jonah Gadjovich to an Entry-level Contract (ELC). He is the first Canucks draft pick taken in the 2017 Entry Draft.
Taken 55th overall in the second round of his draft, Gadjovich plays a feisty power game. He is a terrific two-way forward who is not afraid to throw around his six-foot-two frame. Gadjovich was drafted from the Owen Sound Attack in the OHL and played his draft year on a line with Nick Suzuki and Canucks sixth round pick, Petrus Palmu.
