At this stage, every game is a must-win for the Vancouver Canucks — who trail the Minnesota Wild by five points for the final playoff spot in the Western Conference.
The Canucks probably don’t have to win all eight of their remaining games, but they can probably only afford two more losses — and one of those better come in overtime or a shootout. Vancouver has to pass three other teams before they catch Minnesota, and a loss tonight could be the final blow in their playoff hopes.
All the Canucks have to do is take care of business against the Calgary Flames – -the top team in the conference with 99 points.
