Vancouver Canucks gameday: Calgary Flames come to town

The Vancouver Canucks better start winning games again, because one more slump might be more than enough to derail their playoff hopes — and a promising 2018-19 season.

Top blueliner Alexander Edler had to leave Monday’s game against the Philadelphia Flyers after he fell face first onto the ice. The Canucks lost that game 2-1, and they would drop their next two contests as well.

Things don’t exactly get any easier tonight, with the Pacific Division-leading Calgary Flames coming to town. Only the Tampa Bay Lightning (82), have more points than Sean Monahan‘s club (73).
