For a lot of this season, goaltender Ryan Miller has carried theVancouver Canucks, who have been unable to score.
Tonight, the script was flipped. While Miller was not bad, necessarily, he did allow four goals on 22 shots.
Luckily, the kids were alright for the Canucks. Vancouver scored three goals — each from a player aged 24 or younger. The oldest of this trio, Sven Baertschi, scored the prettiest of the goals.
Reid Boucher had already tied the game at one in the second period. The Canucks were fighting for the puck along the boards in the Islanders’ end.
