Tonight with the 23rd overall pick of the 2015 NHL Draft, the Vancouver Canucks selected American winger Brock Boeser. A native of Burnsville, Minnesota, the young 18-year old has been playing for the USHL’s Waterloo Black Hawks. During his time there he has certain made a big impression and last season, Boeser led the league in scoring with 35 goals. His excellent form also earned him a spot on both the USHL All-Rookie Team and the First All-Star Team. With the lack of quality on the right wing, Boeser will certainly be a handy prospect if he can keep his scoring touch up.
