The Vancouver Canucks got more out of Brendan Leipsic than they could have expected following a trade deadline deal with the Vegas Golden Knights, as he posted nine points in 14 games with his new team.
It was a short sample size, but we saw some fine teamwork between Leipsic and Bo Horvat last year, though it’s unlikely he’ll be on the first line to start 2018-19. Nonetheless, Leipsic showed flashes of brilliance with Vancouver, and fans shouldn’t forget what he might be able to bring to the table this upcoming season.
