With the exception of Alexander Edler, the Vancouver Canucks don’t have any notable unrestricted free agents for next summer, but 21-year-old sniper Brock Boeser will need a new contract when his entry-level deal expires.
Coming off a 29-goal and 55-point season in just 62 games, Boeser looks primed for an even better campaign in his sophomore year. We know he’s in line for a big extension, and some have talked about the Canucks getting into contract talks with Boeser soon.
However, Boeser appeared on Sportsnet 650 and emphasized that he’s not worried on contract talks right now, with his focus primarily on the upcoming 2018-19 season.
