This is the tale of a hockey player once so underrated he became overrated and finally properly rated. But, is he overpaid as a member of the Vancouver Canucks?
Loui Eriksson signed a six-year, $36 million contract. For those of you who remember their timetables, this is a $6 million AAV. (If it was eight years times $8 million it would be a $64 million contract. If it was $6 million times seven years, it would be 42. Or, 4×9=36).
Seriously, I’m so old we had to do this in school. There is a substantial chunk of my brain which can’t unlearn this stuff.
