Henrik and Daniel Sedin are not slowing down and it looks like they will never stop scoring. Daniel is currently the Canucks’ top scorer and fifth in the league with 29 points, Henrik is close behind at 26. Their line with Jannik Hansen, who sits at 16 points, is working. But behind that? Not much.
Radim Vrbata has 12 points, Alex Burrows 11, and rookie Jared McCann sits at nine. Having a bottom line that hardly scores is bad enough, but at least the top six needs to produce in order to make the playoffs.
One player who could potentially help that second line of Vrbata and McCann is Montreal Canadiens winger Alexander Semin, who was put on waivers today.
