Nobody could have expected the Vancouver Canucks to sit at 23-22-6 at this point of the season, given all the injuries they’ve endured — along with the lack of scoring depth.
But the “big three” of Elias Pettersson, Brock Boeser and Bo Horvat have kept the Canucks in the playoff race. They are in a tie with the Dallas Stars and Colorado Avalanche for the final wild card spot in the Western Conference.
Of course, the Canucks still have a long way to go before we can get excited about their playoff chances.
