A top-three pick is probably the only thing that could have cheered Vancouver Canucks fans up after an abysmal 2015-16 campaign. But, it’s the Canucks we are talking about. So, of course, they dropped two spots in the NHL Draft Lottery. It is now time to put that behind us and look forward to the future.
Because the future looks bright. Seriously.
You might not understand all of Jim Benning‘s offseason moves, but that doesn’t automatically make them bad. Fans, including myself, like to get angry at the first sight of a trade. Like when the Canucks gave up Jared McCann and the 33rd-overall pick for Erik Gudbranson.
