Hey look, the Vancouver Canucks are about to kickoff their 2017-18 season. Six months went by fast, and I thank you for waking me up when September ended.
General manager Jim Benning and new head coach Travis Green have constructed a new-look roster that’ll include youngsters Brock Boeser and Jake Virtanen, and veteran additions in Sam Gagner, Thomas Vanek, Michael Del Zotto and Anders Nilsson, among others.
So the 2017-18 Canucks won’t be the squad we’ve seen the last five years: Old, slow and barely able to score.
