The Utica Comets got off to a great start against the Grand Rapids Griffins in the AHL’s Western Conference Final.
Any team wants to start Game 1 with a fast start. Well, the Comets must have really wanted that start because it only took them 35 seconds to score the first goal of the game.
Niklas Jensen, the Vancouver Canucks 2011 first round pick, go that first goal. Peter Andersson and Cal O’Reilly got the assists on the goal. Jensen is in danger of falling down the Canucks depth chart so he better continue to play well.
