Mike Ridley scored the first regular season goal at GM Place, but the Detroit Redwings won the game, putting five pucks past Kirk Mclean that night. The score was 5-3.
I was at that game. I sat in Level 300, section 301 in the very last row. I attended the game with 5 other friends and although we were all the way up there, we didn’t miss a thing.
