It’s been that kind of season for the Vancouver Canucks. Actually, it’s been worse than that. More like one step forward, two steps back.
Anyway, you get the idea. The Canucks, once again, could not realize what has become their Impossible Dream: winning three straight games.
The Winnipeg Jets built an early 2-0 lead Monday night and cruised to an easy 5-2 win over the Canucks at Rogers Arena.
The Canucks are now 0-7-1 in games after they have won two straight this season. Six of those losses have come on home ice, where there clearly has been no advantage this season.
