Well, the Vancouver Canucks gave us a bit of interesting news this morning. It looks like Jay Beagle has been activated off injured reserve forcing the team to move another forward out. I thought Adam Gaudette was as good as done, but the Canucks chose someone else to remove from the roster.
Rick Dhaliwal confirmed that Brendan Leipsic was placed on waivers this morning to make room. I just assumed it would be Gaudette since he doesn’t require waivers for reassignment. Couple that with his declining ice time and it wouldn’t be crazy to see him sent back to Utica.
