September 16th marked the 32nd annual Jake Milford Canucks Charity Invitational at Northview Golf & Country Club. This year was especially significant as the Canucks for Kids Fund celebrates its 30th Anniversary this season. Over the past three decades, events such as the Jake Milford, have helped the Fund raise over $50 million for children’s charities across B.C.
The Jake Milford raises funds for the Canucks for Kids Fund as well as the Vancouver Canucks Alumni Foundation in support of the Boys & Girls Clubs of Greater Vancouver.
In addition to raising funds for children’s charities, Trevor Linden says that “this tournament [brings] our players, alumni, coaches, management, longtime supporters, sponsors and donors together not only to play some golf but also to celebrate our rich history.
