A game after saying the Vancouver Canucks’ power play needed to make a difference, Daniel Sedin made sure it did. Actually, he and his brother Henrik made the difference.
With the Canucks in their worst slump in two seasons and having just blown another third-period lead, Danny scored twice in 121 seconds, completing the sixth hat trick of his National Hockey League career and crashing through the 900-point barrier as Vancouver beat the Chicago Blackhawks 6-3 tonight at Rogers Arena.
Daniel finished with four points and Henrik with five, including a key first-period power-play goal as the Canucks won for just the second time in nine games.
