Thanks to the genius mind of Brian Burke, the Vancouver Canucks organization and hockey lovers from around the globe were treated with “Sedin magic” for nearly 20 years.
Back in the 1999 NHL draft, he pulled off the impossible when he managed to swing three trades, land the Canucks selections at numbers two and three overall and ultimately select the twins. That day changed the history of Canucks hockey forever.
Fast forward 20 seasons and the twins left their mark on the organization as the two best players to ever wear Canucks colours. Henrik Sedin in his prime was the best playmaker in the league, and Daniel Sedin always knew how to put the puck in the back of the net.
