Recap of huge day for Vancouver Canucks players at Worlds

In a battle for precious points in Group A, Canada took on the Americans in the final game before the quarterfinals take place. The two powerhouses have had good tournaments so far, as expected. Canada, going into yesterday’s game, sat just one point behind Finland, who had a game in hand over them. Two Vancouver Canucks players were in the lineup for this game.

The American team was bested by the Canadians by a score of 3-0, but there was more to this game that matters to us Canucks fans. Although Thatcher Demko was given backup duties to former Canuck Cory Schneider who was given the start, Quinn Hughes and Troy Stecher were both in action in this game.
