Josh Cooper of The Athletic: If the Los Angeles Kings decided to trade defenseman Jake Muzzin, he’d be one player who would bring them back a nice return. He has a year left at a $4 million cap hit.
“He is tradeable 1) because he’s playing well, 2) because he’s got a somewhat favorable salary and those guys are certainly in demand. So I think that they’re going to blow things up there,” an NHL team scout said. “Who knows? Maybe they think that they’re not so far away. They might think totally different, but I think you’ll see them try to blow things up a little bit.
