Darren Dreger: A decision where Alex Kerfoot will be signing should be decided soon. Up to 10 teams had shown interest – Vancouver Canucks, New York Rangers, San Jose Sharks, New York Islanders and the Colorado Avalanche are in the final five.
Arthur Staple: A bit surprising that the Islanders are in Kerfoot’s list of teams, a bigger surprise would be if they were able to sign him. Have heard that it is the Sharks or the Rangers.
Andy Graziano: Would have to think the Kerfoot’s relationship with Jimmy Vesey might have the Rangers an edge.
