Miller marvelous, but Canucks can't keep Rangers at bay in 3-2 OT loss

NEW YORK – Ryan Miller played out of his mind, Steve Miller nearly lost his head and JT Miller kept his long enough to score the overtime winner on a wraparound.

Yes, it was Miller time here Tuesday – mostly Ryan Miller time, even as the Vancouver Canucks lost 3-2 in overtime to the New York Rangers.

The single point the Canucks salvaged was due entirely to Miller.

The Canuck goalie was brilliant again, making 47 saves, seven of them on JT Miller before the Ranger scored in OT.

Mats Zuccarello had tied it for New York with 8:14 remaining, on a goalmouth conversion of Keith Yandle’s centring pass – but only after Miller had lost his goalie stick.
