Vey's first season with Vancouver was a mixed bag, but with the team up against the cap and the idea that Bo Horvat will get a shot at securing the 2LC, Vey makes sense (re: cheap!) as a bottom six option. He has a history with WD as coach and the organization surely is hoping he can mature/evolve his game next season in what is shaping up - as you can see below - to be an important bounce-back campaign.
