You don't try to forget the mistakes, but you don't dwell on it. You don't let it have any of your energy, or any of your time, or any of your space."
And yet the harder the Vancouver Canucks try to skate away from their recent playoff failure, the nearer they draw that dispiriting history to them with each new loss. They don't want it to have any of their space, but seven straight defeats on home ice takes up a lot of it.
