Hansen scores twice, Canucks beat Oilers 2-1 for 1st OT win

VANCOUVER, British Columbia -- Jannik Hansen scored his second goal of the game 4:01 into overtime and the Vancouver Canucks edged the Edmonton Oilers 2-1 on Saturday night for their first overtime victory this season.

Hansen, who tied the score in the second period, walked down the right wing and fired a shot that beat goalie Cam Talbot under his blocker for the game-winner. Matt Bartkowski and goalie Jacob Markstrom had the assists.

Vancouver (14-14-9) had been 0-7 when playing 3-on-3.

Mark Letestu opened the scoring in the first period for Edmonton (15-18-3).
