When you think of rivalries that the Canucks have, this one usually doesn’t register. But if you can think back to the days of the West Coast Express, as the Canucks were coming out of the Dark Ages (*spits on a picture of Mark Messier*) the team that one would use as the measuring stick was the Detroit Red Wings.
