ANAHEIM, Calif. — The Vancouver Canucks play their first game against a Pacific Division opponent in nearly a month tonight when they meet the Anaheim Ducks at the Honda Center (7 p.m. PT, on Sportsnet Pacific, TSN 1040).
Both teams have work to do to climb above the playoff bar. The top three teams in each division make the playoffs and the Canucks enter the game fourth in the Pacific with 25 points, while the Ducks are four points back in fifth.
"You look at Anaheim and they lost a lot of games early on and they are only four points behind us," Canucks captain Henrik Sedin said after today's optional game-day skate.
