VANCOUVER — The Vancouver Canucks have placed forward Linden Vey and defenceman Frank Corrado on waivers.
The move clears roster space for the Canucks, who are making room for young forwards Jake Virtanen and Jared McCann, as well as rookie defenceman Ben Hutton.
Vey, 24, played 75 games in his rookie season with the Canucks last season, scoring 10 goals and registering 24 points.
He was acquired from the Los Angeles Kings in the summer of 2014 by Vancouver general manager Jim Benning in exchange for a second-round draft pick.
Corrado, 22, was a fifth-round selection by the Canucks in the 2011 entry draft.
