We’re one month through the 2019-20 NHL season, and the Vancouver Canucks have performed like one of the league’s elite clubs.
The challenge, of course, is for the Canucks to keep this going. Remember, they performed well up to this point in each of the last two seasons, before slumping throughout November and December.
Vancouver is on an eight-game point streak, having kept it going after losing to the St. Louis Blues in overtime on Tuesday night. Entering play on Thursday, the Canucks sit just one point behind the Edmonton Oilers for tops in the Pacific Division, and Connor McDavid‘s club has played two more games.
