Canucks news: Luongo’s new job, Sutter’s injury, and recent call ups

The Vancouver Canucks‘ franchise leader in wins, Roberto Luongo, has taken a new job as a “Special Advisor to the General Manager,” working alongside Florida Panthers general manager Dale Tallon.

Luongo played a total of 11 seasons with the Panthers, but spent the best years of his career as a member of the Canucks for eight seasons. As per The Athletic, Luongo said part of his responsibilities could include going to see junior or college players, but his main focus right now is learning as much as possible about the management side of the game.
