Canucks come out on top in wild third period to defeat Rangers 2-1

It had been over a month since the Canucks had won two games in a row. Vancouver changed that on Wednesday night, defeating the New York Rangers 2-1 at Rogers Arena for their second consecutive win to close out a four-game homestand.

The last time the Canucks won back-to-back games was on November 2 when they defeated the Philadelphia Flyers after defeating the Arizona Coyotes in their last game.

Ryan Miller was brilliant all night, with the only goal allowed coming on a penalty shot in the third period. Other than that, Miller stopped 32 shots he faced on the night, leading the Canucks to the win.
