Canucks collapse again versus Red Wings, lose 3-2 in OT

The Vancouver Canucks’ best game of the season turned into their most disappointing defeat yet, as the struggling National Hockey League team blew a two-goal lead in the third period and lost 3-2 in overtime to the Detroit Red Wings at Rogers Arena.

It was the third time in five home games this season the Canucks lost after carrying the lead into the final period. No wonder they are still winless in Vancouver this year and have lost four straight games on a homestand that ends Tuesday with a visit by the 9-0 Montreal Canadiens, the NHL’s top team.
