Canucks can't score, Henrik Sedin injured in 2-0 loss to Flyers

PHILADELPHIA – The Vancouver Canucks showed who they were before the game. Then they showed who they are in the game, losing 2-0 to the Philadelphia Flyers as an impressive effort was undermined by their inability to score.

Worse, the Canucks also lost team captain and offensive driver Henrik Sedin in the second period to an undisclosed lower-body injury.

Any remote chance the Canucks have to recover from their six-week downward spiral probably hinges on the severity of Sedin’s injury.

Canucks players went helmetless in the pre-game warmup -- a nice, if slightly superficial, display of accountability.
