The Vancouver Canucks entered the All-Star break as the eighth-best offence in the NHL with 162 goals, and Brock Boeser has been a key reason why.
Boeser is up to 16 goals and 43 points on the season, and he’s in strong position to set career highs in both. The soon-to-be 23-year-old ranks third in team scoring, behind Elias Pettersson (51 points) and J.T. Miller (46 points).
Though he often hasn’t garnered as much attention compared to the likes of Pettersson, Miller and rookie Quinn Hughes this season, Boeser has been just as vital to Vancouver’s success through the first 49 games.
