The 2014/15 was an eventful season in the career and life of Alex Biega.
The Harvard graduate scored the eventual game-winning goal in his first ever National Hockey League game in 2-1 overtime victory over the Minnesota Wild when the Vancouver Canucks were missing the majority of their blueline back in mid-February.
A native of Montreal, the 27-year-old defenceman also became a father to a baby boy when his wife, Diana and him welcomed the birth of their first child, Carter Alexander in April.
