CALGARY -- All season long, it seemed like when the Vancouver Canucks needed a big win on the road, they found a way to get it.
But in the biggest road game of their season Saturday night, they couldn’t do it again.
The Canucks raced out to a 3-0 lead, but lost 7-4 to the Calgary Flames and saw their season end.
Calgary won the series in six games and advances to the second round, where they will face the Anaheim Ducks,
The Canucks, meanwhile, face another long summer.
Vancouver had 24 road wins in the regular season.
