Pettersson has not appeared in a game since December 5th, missing a total of eight games due to an upper body injury.
A lot has changed on the ice for the Canucks since Pettersson last played, including the trade of former Captain Quinn Hughes to the Minnesota Wild, but Pettersson will finally have the chance to play alongside the recently acquired Marco Rossi and Zeev Buium.
