It seems everyone is scoring for the Vancouver Canucks except the guy who is supposed to score the most.
The irony is not lost on Radim Vrbata, whose personal frustration is being tempered by his team’s fast start.
Vrbata has 18 shots — second most in the National Hockey League before Thursday’s action — and no goals. No assists either.
Every season has its peaks and valleys, but you never want to start a season in a goal-scoring funk. Vrbata said Thursday he’d be more concerned if he wasn’t getting any chances. That hasn’t been the case in the Canucks’ first four games.
