With TV doctors, it's nothing but drama

VALPARAISO, Ind. -- Micah Bradford came off the bench to score a career-high 20 points and lead Valparaiso to an 88-46 win over Division III North Park in the season opener Friday night.

The Crusaders held the Division III Vikings scoreless for more than 10 minutes to start the game, opening with a 15-0 run, and built a 23-point advantage after the first 20 minutes to lead 40-17 at intermission. Valparaiso also held North Park scoreless for more than five minutes in the second half.

Bradford, who hit 8 of 12 shots from the field, including 2 of 6 from distance, did all his scoring in 16 minutes of playing time.
