The women’s basketball team defeated Bradley University with a score of 76-73 on Feb. 1.

Valpo began the game by capturing an early lead, shooting 27 points in the first quarter alone. Senior guard Meredith Hamlet, freshman guard Shay Frederick, senior guard Allison Schofield and sophomore guard Addison Stoller helped extend the lead with eight three-pointers. Valpo also was able to grab 21 rebounds, 14 of them being defensive rebounds. At the end of the second quarter, the score was 38-29 in Valpo’s favor.
