Valpo Football’s strong start to the conference season has been highlighted by stellar individual performances by players across the board. On the defensive side of the ball, one of those standout players has been junior defensive back Keyon Turner.
Across the first four games of the 2022 season, Turner has racked up 21 total tackles, two tackles for loss, one sack and one quarterback hurry. He also leads the team in pass breakups with three in that category.
The junior’s hot start to the season isn’t something that comes unexpectedly. Turner has been a key piece of Valpo’s defense since his freshman campaign.
