2020 has been quite an experience, to say the least, but I wouldn’t want to go through this pandemic with anyone other than the Valpo Women’s Golf Team and the friends I’ve made since I’ve been here. I am proud to be a part of such an amazing group of student-athletes. As a freshman, I wasn’t sure what to expect but this fall has exceeded my expectations. The whole team has been very supportive, inclusive, and accepting. I love the feeling of family within the entire golf program at Valpo, which includes the men’s team.
We were only able to compete in two events this fall, but fortunately, we were able to practice six days a week since golf is a naturally socially distanced sport.
