CHICAGO, Ill. — Recent UTSA signee Jordyn Lacy was named the 2015-16 Gatorade New Mexico Girls Soccer Player of the Year, it was announced last week by The Gatorade Company in collaboration with USA Today High School sports.
The award not only recognizes outstanding athletic excellence but also high standards of academic achievement and exemplary character demonstrated on and off the field. Additionally, she now is a finalist for the prestigious Gatorade National Girls Soccer Player of the Year award, which will be announced in May.
